If you’re looking for a golf swing training aid, you can get overwhelmed with the sheer numbers to choose. Like every golfer I’m always looking for ways to improve my swing. So when I found the Speed Stik I was pleasantly surprised.
The Speed Stik is one of those gadgets which is so simple you wonder how it could possibly ever help your golf swing. So take a few minutes and you can learn more about this golf training aid used by many present and past tour pros like Vijay Singh, Arnold Palmer and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
Hitting a golf ball a longer distance means increasing the speed of your golf swing. Many of us get hung up with the idea we have to hit the ball with more power to make the ball go further. Hitting harder does not equal greater distance. But
Swing Trainer can help you increase the distance of your drive by increasing your golf swing speed.
What’s The Swing Speed of The Average Golfer?
Most males swing at an average speed of 90 mph. This means your ball is driven just over 225 yards. The average female golfer hits 175 yards which means a swing speed of 70 mph. Now if you want the ball traveling 250-300 yards the swing speed will have to be 100-120 mph.
Previously the only way you could measure swing speed was to go into a pro shop or golf specialty store and use one of their swing speed machines. But the Speed Stik changes that.
The Speed Stik
Swing Trainer is a weighted rod which is longer than a driver. Designed in two different weights depending on your body weight. Now many of the pros and serious golfers use both weights. The use the lighter weight stick to build up speed and the heavier weight The Speed Stik can help to build up strength and all around flexibility.
The goal is build up your speed gradually and progressively till you reach your maximum swing speed. The Speed Stik comes with a built in speed gauge. You swing and then read the gauge. The gauge is easy to read .
You get immediate feedback so you can track your results. Then as you practice each day you can track your results giving you motivation to continue practicing on a daily basis.
How Does The Speed Stik Help Your Game?
In addition to giving you feedback on your swing speed, the The Speed Stik will strengthen those golf specific muscles in your arms, shoulders, back and legs. As you move through the range of motion it will increase your flexibility, and improve your balance. By working with a weighted stick you also improve the coordination between your upper and lower body. We all know it’s a smooth rotation giving the pros the explosive power to their drives.
This is a serious golf swing training aid. When you look at what it offers, it can help the average golf build up their golf swing speed so you can hit the ball farther and have a better score. And when the score is lower it makes a golfer’s day.
The Speed Stik comes with an instructional dvd which gives a 15 day program to improving your golf swing speed. What do you have to lose? How about a couple of strokes from your game? This is a cost effective golf training aid every golfer who wants to improve should own.
And if there’s a junior golfer in your family, there’s a
Xtreme Speed Stik Junior Swing Trainer for juniors as well.
ConsiderSwing Trainer as your way of chopping a stroke or more off your score.

Zach Johnson showed everyone why persistence is important as he finished first in the Valero Open on Sunday. His cumulative score was 19 under for the La Cantera Course. Johnson's last wins were in 2007 Masters and AT&T.
What struck me most was a comment Johnson made. "This week I was just concentrating on the process not the outcome," Johnson said. "I had six weeks off this fall [after not qualifying for the FedEx Cup playoffs] and I just rededicated myself to getting back to what I used to do."
How many of us forget that important point? We focus on a lower score, winning the round instead of making each stroke our best.
With the Valero Open I had the chance to spend some time with clients enjoying the Open. We kicked back and really enjoyed the Open and the time we spent together.
We also spent some time at the driving range. Hit some buckets and got some practice in on our putting. After we had the chance to relax over a good meal at Mi Tierra. The roving musicians and excellent drinks made a great background talking after the Open. All in all we shared some good ideas which I can see leading to new business for us all in the near future.
That brings me back again to Johnson's remarks. People do business with people they like and who show interest in them. With the economy in a question mark (not sure what else to call it) it's important to connect with existing customers and prospects. Investing the time and ideas now is focusing on the process not the outcome. Zach Johnson was right on more than one occasion.

One of my fellow golfers, part of my foursome, just came up with some great ideas on how to Golf Frugally.
Phil's a great guy and did a Squidoo lens to talk about his
resources.
Maybe it's because he grew up in New England, but Phil is one smart guy when it comes to stretching a dollar.
Go visit and let me know what you think.
